You’re invited to a creative space for healing and connection. This Mini-Retreat with Carrie & Bev will loosely follow the modality of Internal Family Systems, a la No Bad Parts, plus… get ready for it… puppet crafting! Why puppets, you ask? Well, if you saw The Menopause Monologues at Town Hall Theatre, you’ll remember the grand finale, an endearing monologue delivered by Carrie’s fluffy, pink vagina-puppet. That’s where we’re going with this. Make your own vagina-puppet and get to know her stories, wounds, joys and dreams.

 If you’re not yet familiar with the show, you’re in for a treat. The Meno Monos is more than a play; it’s kind of a service, a movement really, empowering women of all generations to use their voices and stories to share, to learn and to connect around the subject of menopause. The Monologues managed to hit every emotion and has been incredibly well received. In addition to community-written stories, each show includes a Q&A with a meno-specialist OB/GYN to help shed light on a long-too-shadowed subject.  

Your tuition for our Mini-Retreat will go toward taking The Menopause Monologues on the road with its rad creators, Carrie, Lulu & Lisa, to reach wider audiences and to collect even more stories. When it hits Broadway, you will have had a hand in it.

And FINALLY, the grand finale of announcements: The video of the performance is IN, and we will finish the day with a SCREENING! YES! A MenoMonoMatinee, with popcorn and everything!
